How to get involved
The Hawaiian Ride for Youth has community at its heart - and while the riders are pedalling 700kms from Albany to Perth, schools and communities are getting on board to support them, by creating their own fundraisers to make a difference for youth mental health.
There are so many ways to fundraise, from school lap-a-thons, bake sales, jumble sales, free dress days, colourful hair day, team lunches and so much more.
Join us, and help make a difference for young people across Western Australia, by raising funds for Youth Focus' vital mental health services.

Walpole Community Op Shop
A highlight of Ride Week is the evening activities and dress ups. A visit to the Walpole Community Op Shop is a must when the Riders and Support Crew arrive in town to purchase their attire for the evening. The Op Shop kindly donated back the proceeds from the purchase of the outfits to Hawaiian Ride for Youth this year.

About the Hawaiian Ride for Youth
The Hawaiian Ride for Youth is held annually in March across 4.5 days with riders covering over 700kms on their way from Albany to Perth to raise funds and awareness for Youth Focus. While cycling through towns in WA's South West, Great Southern and Wheatbelt the riders visit high schools to engage with students on the importance of positive mental health.
The Ride began in 2003 when a small group of recreational cyclists decided to combine their resources and raise funds for Youth Focus to support youth mental health. Since its inception the Ride has raised more than $36 million for Youth Focus.
The awareness raised for Youth Focus as a result of the Hawaiian Ride for Youth is equally as important as the funds raised. The riders not only create awareness about Youth Focus through their individual fundraising campaigns but also in their local communities and at regional schoool visits where riders engage with students about the importance of positive mental health.
